THE FATHER AND THE LEADER OF A FAMILY

1 Peter 3.7: 7 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

It`s hard to see that we´re already halfway through the year. We are looking forward to the end of the school year and the start of summer vacation. With this comes an important day which is “Father’s Day.”

The first “Father’s Day”, was held in Washington D.C. on June 19, 1910. It was officially held throughout the United States in 1924, when President Calvin Coolidge declared it a national celebration. In 1966 President Lyndon B. Johnson signed a proclamation declaring the third Sunday of June as a date for the celebration of Father´s Day.

May we all celebrate this day and thank our earthly father’s. The head of the household, the one that carries the family forward. Our dad that, by his efforts, labors, advice, hugs, edifying words formed and is forming the future generation.

His children look at him as the man who loves his wife. Who treats her with tenderness, love, affection and kindness Treating her as a precious diamond. They saw him as the one that pray for his children, who was there during their times of crisis and never walked away In this your day we give thanks, and a hug to all our Father’s.

May you’re Father’s Day be filled with blessings, hugs, love and the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!!!!
