ARE WE PREPARE FOR 2019?

Well, we are closing in on the celebration of a new year 2019! Thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior is something very special, simply because we see how the Lord bought life and salvation to us through His love and mercy. He is the greatest thing there is! We celebrate with great joy among family, brothers and sisters of the faith.

At the same time, we are looking and waiting for what the new year brings us with anxiety, and hope. We wonder if this is the year in which our ministries will begin, or will I enter my calling, will this be the year my miracle will be fulfilled. What is waiting for me in 2019?

There is a word in 1Coronitios 15.57-58, in which the Apostle Pual mentions some very important things that provide us with direction, guidance in our walk with him: 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

This word is given to provide us with direction which help us to stay focus and attentive in our daily walk and call. That we remain firm in the most difficult moments. That our direction be fixed in Christ and his purpose for our life. That our ideas, aims, and attitude be firm. In Hebrews 10.23 the word says: Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. The victory is ours!

The next thing the Apostol Paul mentions is that we should not let Nothing Move You as followers of the gospel. That we should be persistent, lasting people with a fixed and determined value. Working constantly in the spirit, joyful, enthusiastic, constant in prayer which brings power to our lives and peace to our heart. Romans 12.11-12 tells us: 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

The final part tells us that we must continue to Give yourself. What is the increase in size, dimension, and progressive development? There has to be a growth of your faith and this growth comes through you. Let's not stop working on our spiritual growth daily. If you want to do something big grow your faith, and you will be big in faith. Colossians 1:10 tells us: 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

I would like to conclude with this: that you have a “Happy New Year”, and that the most important celebration be the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ our king. Let us look at the year 2019 as a year where we stand Firm, let Nothing Move you and give Yourself to the work of the Lord. May your faith increase without limit and may your journey be great and your call to ministry come to fulfillment Amen!
